The event, offered in honour of guests of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, was attended by head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani, several government members, as well as Moroccan and foreign figures.

HRH Princess Lalla Malika chaired on Wednesday at the Ahmed Ben Zayed Al Nahyane establishment in Ain Atiq (prefecture of Skhirat-Temara), the ceremony to launch Morocco's Red Crescent National Week.

The celebration of this global event, held this year under the theme "Do you know it? We are everywhere and for everyone", was marked by the participation of representatives of national red crescent associations in several African countries.

The agenda of this event features first-aid training sessions, multiple victims intervention simulations, handing eyeglasses to pupils in the prefecture, and offering clothes and hygiene products to the facility residents.
