Upon his arrival, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by FAR’s Inspector general, Major General Abdelfatah Louarak, before reviewing a detachment of FAR’s Headquarters which paid the honors.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was also greeted by Head of the government Saad Eddine El Othmani, Minister Delegate in charge of the Administration of National Defense, Abdelatif Loudiyi, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Lieutenant General Housni Benslimane, Brigadier General El Abed Alaoui Bouhamid, Inspector of the Royal Air Forces, and Rear Admiral Mustapha Alami, Inspector of the Royal Navy.

The luncheon was attended mainly by head of the government, speakers of the parliament’s two houses, members of the government, HM the king’s advisors, and high-ranking officers of FAR's general staff.

Ceremonies were held to celebrate FAR’s 61st anniversary by different garrisons and units of the Royal Armed Forces. During these ceremonies, the Order of the Day addressed by HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, to officers, non-commissioned officers and privates was read out.
