Creation of Telephone Number "1919" For Citizens Wishing To Contribute To Fund for Coronavirus Pandemic Management

Rabat - The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform has set up a telephone number "1919", intended for all citizens who want to contribute to the Coronavirus Pandemic Management Fund.

Each SMS to the number "1919" represents a donation of 10 dirhams, said the ministry in a press release, adding that this telephone number is operational as of Saturday, March 21, 2020.

This initiative is part of the national effort to fight the Coronavirus pandemic and its effects, the statement said, recalling that the competent authorities created, upon the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, a Special Fund for the Coronavirus pandemic management.

This fund benefits from the contribution of the State Budget of up to 10 billion dirhams and is open to the contribution of organizations and institutions as well as natural persons, the press release concluded.
