Casablanca: Investigation Opened Following Publication of List of People Suspected of Having Been Infected with Covid-19
Casablanca - The public prosecutor at the Casablanca Appeal Court has ordered the opening of a judicial investigation into a list published on social media which includes the names of presumed infected people with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
The investigation will seek to identify the people who leaked this list, the public prosecutor at the Casablanca Appeal Court pointed out in a release.
It will also establish whether it is a violation of the law relating to the spread of fake news, a breach of professional secrecy or an invasion of privacy.
