Video Broadcasted by Media Outlet on Ar-Razi Hospital Center is Old, Has No Link with Current Situation (Clarification)

Rabat - The video footage broadcast by one of the electronic media outlets under the title "a very dangerous statement by nurses of a public hospital in Marrakech: patients infected with coronavirus die because they are treated by trainee doctors", is old and has no connection with the situation in the country, said the administration of the Ar-Razi hospital center.

In a clarification following the broadcast of this video via electronic media, the administration pointed out that this footage is a statement by a nurse to a media outlet during the period of work stoppage at the Ar-Razi hospital surgical complex and has no connection with the current situation in the country.

The management of the hospital center expresses its astonishment at the exploitation by some media outlets of this situation and the dissemination of old statements that have no relation to the epidemiological situation in the country, the same source added.

It also reserves the right to prosecute anyone who damages the reputation of the establishment, indicating that the public prosecutor's office will be notified of the facts relating to this matter so that it can take the necessary measures and initiate legal proceedings.
