The number of deaths due to the coronavirus stands at 37, while that of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory tests is 2,561, said the ministry in its 1 p.m. report, published on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".

The ministry said that the total number of cases of Covid-19 infection stands at 638.

The cases were recorded in the regions of Casa-Settat (179), Marrakech Safi (115), Rabat Salé Kenitra (111), Fez-Meknes (110), Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (44), the Eastern region (26), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (20), Souss-Massa (17), Daraa-tafilalet (13), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1).

 The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, and to show responsibility and patriotism.
