Tangier: Production and Distribution of 4 Million Face Masks For Free To Region's Residents Before End of April

Tangier - The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS) of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries (AMITH) have announced on Wednesday the decision to produce and distribute four million face masks for free before the end of April.

According to a joint press release, the CCIS and the AMITH have decided, in coordination with the competent authorities, to exceptionally open production units and take the recommended preventive measures, in order to produce a first batch 4 million masks that comply with national health and preventive standards, before the end of April.

This initiative is part of the contribution to the national effort to contain the coronavirus in Morocco, said the same source, noting that these masks will be distributed to residents in coordination with the competent administrative services.
