Covid-19: Five New Recoveries in Marrakech-Safi Region

Marrakech - Five new recoveries from the novel coronavirus were reported in the region of Marrakech-Safi until Tuesday at 10 a.m., the regional health office said, adding that the total number of cases stands at 739.

According to the same source, 66 patients have recovered from the disease, while 37 people died from coronavirus complications.

Marrakech is the worst-hit with 470 cases, followed by Rehamna (215), Al Haouz (26), Chichaoua (23), El Kelaa Sraghna (3) and Essaouira (2), while no case has been registered in Safi and Youssoufia.

A total of 140 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Tuesday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,186, the ministry of Health said.
