This agreement is part of Program No. 8.2.4.1.1 (Medical and Socio-Educational Caravans - Case of Coronavirus) implemented in cooperation between ICESCO and the Alwaleed Philantropies Foundation, according to a joint statement of the National Commission and the Pan-Islamic organization.

 In this regard, the Commission will receive a $40,000 budget for the supply and distribution of hygiene products and medical kits for the ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and the Family, through Entraide Nationale, to support the ministry's programs for vulnerable populations and contribute to the national effort to stem the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

 This agreement also provides for the possible provision of a donation in kind (basic medicines, foodstuffs) for the benefit of certain associations working in the field of the fight against precariousness, added the statement.

 To this end, the Moroccan National Commission for Education, Science and Culture and the ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and the Family will be responsible for identifying needs, purchasing and distributing products to vulnerable populations in the regions most affected by the pandemic, through Entraide nationale.
