No New Covid-19 Case in Souss-Massa Region, Total Stands at 47

Agadir - No new Covid-19 case was reported in the region of Souss-Massa since Tuesday afternoon and until Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to the regional health office.

Thirteen people have recovered from the disease in the region, while 5 people died from coronavirus complications, the source said.

The prefecture of Agadir-Ida-Outanane is the hardest-hit with 22 cases, followed by Inezgane-Ait Melloul (18), Tata (4), Chtouka-Ait Baha (2) and Taroudant (1), the source added, noting that no case of the virus has been reported so far in the province of Tiznit.

A total of 168 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Wednesday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,377, the ministry of Health said.
