The total number of cases remains at 282, while fatalities stand at 11, the source pointed out, adding that the number of recovered covid-19 patients in the region has reached 121 since the start of the outbreak.

Rabat has recorded 43 recoveries, ahead of Skhirat-Temara (42), Salé (22), Kenitra (10) and Khemisset (4).

Regarding the geographical spread of the virus, Rabat is the hardest-hit with 119 cases, ahead of Skhirat-Temara (81), Salé (51), Kenitra (23), Khemisset (7) and Sidi Slimane (1).

No case has been reported so far in the province of Sidi Kacem.

A total of 91 new covid-19 cases were confirmed in Morocco until Thursday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,537, the ministry of Health said.
