Covid-19: Two New Cases Confirmed in Fez

Fez - Two new cases of the novel coronavirus (covid-19) were confirmed in Fez until Friday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of cases in the prefecture of Fez to 309, the regional health office said.

The number of Covid-19 cases in the region of Fez-Meknes rises to 494, the source pointed out.

The prefecture of Fez is the worst-hit with 309 cases, ahead of Meknes (102), Taza (43), Ifrane (18, Taounate (7), Sefrou (11), El Hajeb (1) and Moulay Yaacoub (3), while no case has been reported so far in Boulemane.

The number of recovered covid-19 patients in the region has reached 99, while 24 people died from coronavirus-related complications.

A total of 124 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Friday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,692.
