"This plan will be based on sectoral recovery plans, taking into account the recovery phase specific to each of these sectors according to its specificities," said a statement by the ministry of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform, adding that the members of the CVE have defined the founding principles of the overall plan and the related cross-cutting mechanisms to support recovery.

The next CVE meeting will examine in particular long-term financing solutions, adaptable to each sector, to support the recovery of large companies, with a reduction in payment times, and to back the recovery of SMEs and VSEs operating in the various sectors of activity, noted the same source.

The members of the Committee also agreed on the format and content of the sectoral plans which should be modulated according to the intrinsic specificities of each sector, the statement noted, adding that these sectoral recovery plans, once finalized, will be submitted to the CVE for consolidation and consistency within the framework of an overall recovery plan to be communicated before the end of the state of health emergency.

The meeting was also marked by the presentation of the overall economic and financial situation of Morocco, based on the most updated economic indicators. The examination of these indicators made it possible to identify the evolution of the macroeconomic situation of the country and the business trends observed at the level of the main sectors of activity.
