Covid-19: Nine New Cases in Fez-Meknes Region

Fez - Nine new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in the region of Fez-Meknes until Thursday at 10 a.m., which rises the number of covid-19 cases in the region to 548, the regional health office said.

The new cases were reported in Fez (8) and Taza (1).

Fez remains the worst hit in the region with 346 cases, followed by Meknes (110), Taza (48), Ifrane (19), Taounate (7), Sefrou (12), Moulay Yaacoub (5) and El Hajeb (1), while no case of the disease has been reported so far in the province of Boulemane.

According to the same source, 22 new recoveries were reported, bringing the total of recovered Covid-19 patients in the region to 158, while the number of fatalities remains at 25.

Thirty-eight new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Thursday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 4,359.
