Covid-19: 549 Cases in Draa-Tafilalet Region

Errachidia - One new covid-19 case has been confirmed in the region of Draa-Tafilalet until Tuesday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of cases in the region to 549, the regional health office said.

The new case was recorded in the province of Ouarzazate, the source added.

Ouarzazate remains the worst-hit province in the region with 473, followed by Midelt (47), Zagora (13), Tinghir (9) and Errachidia (7).

A total of 219 covid-19 patients have recovered in the region, while four people died from coronavirus complications.

A total of 100 new cases of the novel coronavirus were confirmed in Morocco until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., bringing to 5,153 the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom.
