Covid-19: 8 New Recovery Cases in Drâa-Tafilalet

Errachidia - Eight (8) new cases of recovery from the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet during the last 24 hours, bringing to 229 the total number of recoveries recorded up to now in this region, said the Regional Department of Health.

They are 4 people from the province of Ouarzazate and 4 others from the province of Midelt who have all left the Moulay Ali Chérif regional hospital in Errachidia, following laboratory tests which turned out to be negative, said the same source.

The 229 cases of recovery recorded so far in the Drâa-Tafilalet region are distributed among the provinces of Ouarzazate (169), Midelt (42), Zagora (11), Errachidia (5) and Tinghir (2).

In addition, 6 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 contamination (5 in Ouarzazate and 1 in Zagora) have been reported during the last 24 hours at the regional level, bringing to 557 the total number of contaminations in Drâa-Tafilalet.

The cases of Covid-19 contamination in the Drâa-Tafilalet region are distributed among the provinces of Ouarzazate (479), Midelt (47), Zagora (14), Tinghir (10) and Errachidia (7).
