The suspect was arrested at his home in the "Sidi Ouassel" neighborhood in Safi, pursuant to four national wanted notices issued by the Marrakech judicial police, for his alleged involvement in cases of fraud and usurpation of the function of police officer, said a statement by the national police (DGSN).

The searches carried out in this case led to the seizure of a wireless device, a paper badge and a document bearing a false visual identity of national police, in addition to 29 bank cards, a laptop computer and a central computer unit, as well as five hard disks for digital data storage and four mobile phones, allegedly used for criminal purposes, according to the same source.

 The suspect has been placed in custody at the disposal of the judicial police of Marrakech, who had issued the wanted notices, pending his submission to the preliminary investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office, to determine the ins and outs of this case and all the criminal acts of which he is accused, concluded the statement.
