As soon as it was informed of this filmed incident, the ministry of the Interior opened an administrative enquiry and sent a central commission to the headquarters of Khemisset province to carry out a thorough and detailed investigation into the matter, the same source said in a statement.
The journalist and cameraman refused to present the local authority representative with the documents justifying their professional quality and insisted on continuing the filming with the camera in active mode, as attested by the video delivered by the persons concerned to the electronic sites, the ministry explained, adding that this video refutes the journalist's allegations that she was slapped by the Caid, since no footage was filmed showing what was alleged to be violence.
