The mother of the minor had warned of the disappearance of her 17-year-old daughter from the family home in a rural area near Sidi Bennour, said a statement by the national police (DGSN), noting that she subsequently received a phone call from one of the suspects who claimed to detain her daughter and asked for a ransom of 5,000 dirhams for her release.

 The research and investigations into this case made it possible to identify and arrest the suspects in the cities of Casablanca and Deroua, the same source added, stressing that the whereabouts of the missing girl was subsequently determined, before she was handed over to her mother.

 The suspects were placed in police custody to complete the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to determine the ins and outs of the case, as well as all the criminal acts of which they were accused.
