Spain: 143 Covid-19 Fatalities in Past 24 Hours

Madrid - Spain reported 143 coronavirus-linked deaths in the past 24 hours, the lowest fatality number since March 18, Spanish Health ministry said on Sunday.

 The figure takes the death toll to 26,621 in the country, the fourth highest in the world.

 Over the past day, 621 new cases of infection were confirmed while over 2,200 people were healed.

 The total number of cases in Spain since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 224,390 cases of whom 136,166 have recovered, the health ministry said.
