These hospitalized cases are divided between the prefecture of Marrakesh (225) and the provinces of Al Haouz (06) and Chichaoua (1), said the Regional Department of Health (DRS) in a new report.

The same source also reports 8 new recoveries, bringing to 1,024 the total number of people declared definitively cured in the region since the outbreak of the pandemic.

According to the DRS, 6 new cases of recovery have been reported in the prefecture of Marrakesh and 2 in the province of Al Haouz.

As for the total of cured cases, they are distributed between the prefecture of Marrakesh (716) and the provinces of Rehamna (231), Al Haouz (44), Chichaoua (23), El Kelâa des Sraghna (04), Essaouira (04) and Safi (02), said the same source, noting that the recovery rate amounts to 78%.

The number of cases excluded after negative test results reached 11,127, while that of fatalities stabilized at 50, it added.
