Covid-19: 5 New Cases in Souss-Massa Region, Total Rises to 83

Agadir - Five new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were reported in the region of Souss-Massa over the past 24 hours, taking the total of cases in the region to 83.

The new cases were recorded in the prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane, the regional health office said Thursday.

Two Covid-19 patients have recovered over the given period, which rises the number of recoveries to 49, while the number of fatalities stands at 7.

The number of dismissed suspected cases following negative tests has reached 3,204 over the past 24 hours.

Seventy-eight new Covid-19 cases were recorded over the past 24 hours in Morocco, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 7,211.
