A new report from the Regional Directorate of Health (DRS) shows that 34 new cases of recovery have been reported in the prefecture of Marrakesh and 3 in the province of Al Haouz.

As for the total of cured cases, they are distributed between the prefecture of Marrakesh (750) and the provinces of Rehamna (231), Al Haouz (47), Chichaoua (23), El Kelâa des Sraghna (04), Essaouira (04) and Safi (02), said the same source, noting that the cure rate is 81%.

The same source also reported 3 new cases of Covid-19 infection, bringing to 1,310 the total number of confirmed infections in the region since the outbreak of the pandemic, including 198 patients under treatment.

The DRS said that these hospitalized cases are divided between the prefecture of Marrakesh (194) and the provinces of Al Haouz (03) and Chichaoua (1).

The number of cases excluded after negative test results has reached 12,022, while that of deaths is 51, it added.
