This security operation carried out in a home at Douar Zraraa in the rural commune of Ksar Sghir near Tangier, resulted in the seizure of a cargo of the illicit substance, wrapped in 27 packets destined for international trafficking, said the national police (DGSN) in a statement, adding that a 31-year-old individual was arrested for his alleged involvement in the case.

 The searches also led to the seizure of three vehicles, one of which was registered abroad, as well as an inflatable boat with an outboard motor, possibly used in international drug trafficking, according to the same source.

 The suspect has been held in police custody, while investigations continue under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to determine the other ramifications of this criminal activity and to arrest possible accomplices in this case, the DGSN concluded.
