These consultations were held at the request of the head of government, in the presence of the minister of Industry, the presidents of the Moroccan chambers of commerce, industry and services, and the presidents of professional associations representing the trade sector, the ministry said in a statement.
Discussions focused on the resumption of commercial activities, the economic recovery plan, as well as on the proposals made by operators in the context of the preparation of the amending finance bill, the same source said.
The participants commended on this occasion the measures taken by the Kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King, to deal with the pandemic and made several proposals that will be carefully examined, the ministry added, noting that it was agreed to continue consultations with a view to putting in place the necessary conditions for the revival of the sector.
