3.7-Magnitude Tremor Shakes Khemisset Province

Rabat - A 3.7-magnitude quake on the Richter scale was felt on Sunday in the province of Khemisset, the National Institute for Geophysics (ING) said.

The quake, whose epicentre is located in the Ait Mimoune commune, was recorded at 12.11 p.m. (GMT+1), the National Earthquake Surveillance and Alert Network, under the said institute, noted in a seismic alert bulletin.

The quake occurred at a depth of 14 km, a 33.676°N latitude and a 6.003°W longitude, the same source added.
