"We are getting ready to live with the virus", said the minister, who was a guest on the news of the first national TV channel Al Oula, to present clarifications on the measures to ease confinement.
Welcoming citizens' sense of responsibility in keeping the epidemic situation under control for three months, Amzazi stressed the need to continue to comply with barrier measures in terms of physical distancing, compulsory wearing of masks and personal hygiene, alongside the disinfection of work spaces.
He also called for downloading the mobile application "Wiqaytna" to track active cases, detect and manage people exposed to the disease.
The continuation of the operation of easing the sanitary confinement aims above all to revive the national economy, he noted, adding that there is no great difference between zones 1 and 2 in terms of authorized activities, apart from traffic between regions and domestic tourism.
According to the minister, Morocco was among the few countries that succeeded in managing the pandemic and controlling it under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and thanks to the measures taken by the government pursuant to the royal directives, which have been praised by international organizations.
