"Morocco has always been at the side of the Union of Comoros and His Majesty personally watches over it through the many acts of solidarity" that the Sovereign has shown, including "the large number of Comorian students in Morocco, the participation of the Kingdom in the Paris conference of donors for the [Plan Comores Emergentes 2030] and now with this donation", reaffirmed president Azali Assoumani in a statement to the press on the occasion of the delivery of Moroccan medical assistance to the Comoros as part of the Initiative of HM King Mohammed VI to grant medical aid to several African countries to support them in their efforts to fight coronavirus.

The Sovereign "has instituted an exemplary tradition of solidarity," the head of State added.

The president of the Union of the Comoros wished His Majesty the King a speedy recovery while imploring the Almighty to preserve the Sovereign.
