Marrakesh: Cameroonian Illegal Migrant Caught for Assault and Battery Resulting in Death, Police

Rabat - The Marrakesh judicial police arrested Thursday an illegal migrant of Cameroonian nationality for his alleged involvement in a case of assault and battery resulting in death, and illegal residence.

A statement from the National Police (DGSN) said that the suspect had assaulted and beaten a migrant from Guinea Conakry and killed him using a knife in the "Mellah" district in Marrakesh, before being arrested by the police services who also seized the knives used in this crime.

The suspect was placed in police custody for the judicial investigation carried out by the judicial police under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to shed light on the ins and outs of this case, concluded the press release.
