Repatriation from Abidjan and Dakar of Moroccans Stranded in Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal

Dakar - Some 150 Moroccans stranded in Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal following the closure of air, land and sea borders due to the Covid-19 pandemic, were repatriated on Friday to Marrakech as part of an operation conducted by the Moroccan authorities.

This operation was supervised in Abidjan and Dakar by the Moroccan ambassadors to Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal, Abdelmalek Kettani and Taleb Barrada, and by the consular services of the two chancelleries.

This Abidjan-Dakar-Marrakech flight is part of the repatriation program organized by Morocco. It has so far involved hundreds of Moroccans stranded abroad in the context of the state of health emergency decreed by several countries following the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
