Tan-Tan: Four Individuals Suspected of Links to Criminal Network Active in International Drug Trafficking Arrested, Police

Rabat - The judicial police of the city of Tan-Tan arrested, on Tuesday on the basis of precise information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), four individuals, including one with a criminal record, suspected of having links to a criminal network active in international drug trafficking.

In a statement, the National Police (DGSN) said that the searches carried out in the context of this case resulted in the seizure of 19 bundles of Chira with a total weight of 610 kilograms, knives, two tear gas canisters, in addition to a sum of money suspected of resulting from this drug trafficking.

The four suspects were subjected to a preliminary investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, in order to determine the ins and outs of this case as well as the degree of involvement of each suspect, in addition to the arrest of possible accomplices implicated in these criminal acts, said the same source.
