The future agreement, which has been discussed during a working meeting, will diversify cooperation and strengthen the coverage of NMF activities so as to promote Moroccan culture.
In a statement following this meeting, MAP Director General, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, highlighted the relevance of strengthening cooperation between MAP and NMF.
Activities related to museums have an exceptional international influence, he pointed out, adding that it was decided to give this cooperation "a structured and documented extension through a new agreement”.
This coverage will concern all NMF-related events in order to give them an "audio-visual depth" and "radio density", Hachimi Idrissi said, adding that increased interest will be given to the work on the archives and particularly to the promotion of Moroccan artists as part of a project that the Foundation intends to launch to collect a testimony on the Moroccan artistic scene.
For his part, NMF President, Mehdi Qotbi, welcomed the "extremely important" support of the MAP in terms of communication both inside and outside the Kingdom.
"We are really happy with this meeting,” he said, stressing the importance of the cultural development of Morocco and museums.
