This humanitarian operation, ensured by a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight, follows a series of repatriations made last week.
It has benefited particularly citizens holding short-stay visas in vulnerable situations, notably the sick, the elderly or people who have undergone surgical operations.
Organized by the Consulates General of Morocco in the Ile de France in collaboration with the French authorities, this operation took place in a climate of serenity and in total respect for the precautionary measures and the health protocols in force.
The first phase of the repatriation operation for Moroccans stranded in France began on June 22 with hundreds of people from several cities in France, including Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Bordeaux.
Thirty flights were scheduled between June 21 and 27 for the repatriation of 4,644 Moroccans stranded in 17 countries, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
