Some 8,028 detainees have benefited from remote trials in optimal health security conditions, in order to preserve the health of employees and users, said the CSPJ on Monday in a press release.
It considered that making public opinion aware of the evolution of the results of the remote trials, launched on April 27, constitutes a strategic choice in the light of the exceptional health circumstances and is part of the approach of communication adopted by the Council and the fostering of the values of openness and transparency, including the implementation of the right of access for all to information.
The Council welcomed the efforts made by all actors and partners, authorities, institutions and professionals of justice, with a view to ensuring the proper functioning of this system and overcoming difficulties according to governance and efficiency mechanisms.
