This document is part of a series of reports in which the organization makes tendentious accusations, fabricated in an attempt to minimize the gains made by the Kingdom in the field of human rights, said a statement by the lower house issued after a meeting of leaders of parliamentary groups and groupings.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the Kingdom's efforts in favor of human rights, a policy placed as a priority by Morocco under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, the same source added.
In the same vein, the House of Representatives stressed the commitment of all its political forces to move forward in the promotion of human rights through national legislation. This includes promoting adherence to the relevant international conventions, consolidating the roles of institutions working for the promotion of human rights as well as parliamentary control mechanisms in this area.
