A working meeting brought together the president of the FNMM and officials from the Louvre Museum to set a new date for the Eugène Delacroix exhibition, postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This exhibition, the first of its kind in the Arab world and Africa, which was to be held from 8 April to 1 July 2020 at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) in Rabat, will take place on 5 April 2021.
President of the FNMM also held a meeting with new chairman of the Quai Branly Museum, Emmanuel Kasarhérou, on the training of museum staff.
Together with Jack Lang, the FNMM president discussed the possibility of an exhibition of Jean Besancenot, one of the world's great photographers.
President of the FNMM also held a working meeting with president of the Centre Pompidou, Serge Lasvignes, to discuss a future exhibition of works by Moroccan artists.
Received, Thursday, by new minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot, Qotbi praised a "rich and promising discussion of a future fruitful collaboration between Moroccan and French museums".
