Tangier: Opening of Investigation into Death of Sub-Saharan Migrant (Local Authorities)
Tangier - The local authorities of the wilaya of the Region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima affirmed that during their intervention Friday following the fire that broke out in the park of Donabo under the territorial jurisdiction of the urban district of Tangier, a group of sub-Saharan migrants were spotted, one of whom was unconscious, specifying that the latter had been transferred to the Mohammed V regional hospital and that the doctor on duty had confirmed his death.
An investigation was opened by the competent authorities under the supervision of the public prosecutor to determine the circumstances and the causes of death of the sub-Saharan migrant, added the same source, noting that the people who accompanied him were arrested.
These thirteen people, who tried to flee, were taken into custody, concluded the same source.
