Rodriguez Mackay stressed, in a statement to MAP, that "in this far-reaching speech, HM the King expressed his concern about the repercussions of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus on Morocco and the world," noting that the Sovereign "has placed the well-being and security of Moroccans at the center of the State's concerns.
"The stability which the Kingdom enjoys and which arouses admiration makes it one of the most competitive countries in the contemporary international system," he said, noting that Morocco is a model in that it is a country that defends moderate Islam and is committed to democratic values.
The Peruvian academic stated that "Morocco is a nation with a centuries-old history and the Moroccan people are very attached to nationalist and civil values", highlighting the role of the royal Institution in ensuring the well-being and security of citizens.
