Nador: Individual Arrested for Possession of 3 Kg of Cocaine (Police)

Rabat - The Nador judicial police arrested, on Thursday, on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), a soldier of "corporal" rank for his alleged implication in a case of possessing 3 kilograms of cocaine.

In a statement, the National Police (DGSN) said that the suspect was arrested in Douar "Izmanin" in the area of "Farkhana", 15 km from Nador, red-handed while possessing cargoes of cocaine, as he attempted to hand them over to another individual who was using a car bearing Moroccan plates and who is under investigation to be identified and arrested.

The suspect was placed in police custody for the preliminary investigation, carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, in order to arrest all possible accomplices in this criminal activity and determine all its ramifications and possible links with drug trafficking networks, added the same source.
