The Lebanese artists expressed, during a visit to the military field hospital set up on the high instructions of HM the King to provide emergency care to the population, victim of this tragedy, their gratitude and esteem for this noble gesture by Sovereign and His mobilization to provide assistance to Lebanon through the establishment of an airlift to deliver humanitarian and emergency medical aid.
They are artist Walid Taoufiq, Lebanese humorist Dabouz Dabouz, and artist Khalil Abou Obeid, in addition to Najwa Karam, Assi Al Hillani, Melhem Zeine, Wissam El Al Amir, and Wael Jassar.
HM King Mohammed VI had given his High Instructions for sending emergency medical and humanitarian aid to the Lebanese Republic, following the tragic explosion in the port of Beirut, claiming several victims and significant material damage.
This field hospital is made up of 100 people, including 14 doctors from various specialties (ICU specialists, surgeons, traumatologists, ENT specialists, ophthalmologists, burn treatment specialists, neurosurgeons, pediatricians, pharmacists), specialized nurses and support staff. It houses an operating room, hospitalization, radiology and sterilization units, a laboratory and a pharmacy.
Moroccan aid also includes a batch of first-aid drugs, food products, tents and blankets for accommodating disaster victims. It also includes preventive medical equipment against Covid-19, notably protective masks, visors, coats and hydro-alcoholic gel.
