This incomparable concert offers the chance to discover one of the two symphonies in the author's production of Carmen, according to the organizers.
The young Moroccan prodigy, a student at Sciences Po, award-winning pianist at only 21, recently opened the series at the international piano festival of La Roque d'Anthéron (France), where she played Sonata N° 23 opus 57 , as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven.
The festival, held until August 21, brought together a host of artists, including Claire Désert, Kojiro Okada, François-Frédéric Guy and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.
Winner of several prizes in international competitions, she notably obtained in 2015 the First Prize at the National Music Competition of Morocco, chaired by Abel Rahman El Bacha, and the Grand Prize at the Flame Competition in Paris. In April 2017, she won the First Prize at the International Classical Music Competition in Baku, Azerbaijan.
