Morocco's Official Reserve Assets Up 25.8%

Rabat - Morocco's official reserve assets amounted to 296 billion dirhams until August 28, 2020, up by 25.8% compared to the same period in 2019, Morocco's central bank (Bank Al-Maghrib) has said.

During the week of 27 August-2 September, Bank Al-Maghrib injected 110.3 billion dirhams.

As for the interbank rate, it has reached 1.5%, the source added in a release.

In the same period, the Dirham appreciated by 0.29% against the Dollar and depreciated by 0.11% against the Euro.
