Moscow, Rabat Driven by Common Desire to Deepen Political Dialogue

Moscow - The Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation are driven by a common desire to deepen political dialogue on major international and regional issues and to strengthen bilateral relations, said a statement from the Russian Foreign ministry issued on Friday.

Russian FM Serguei Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans abroad, Nasser Bourita, had a telephone conversation on ways to strengthen bilateral relations, the same source added.

Talks revolved around the 8th session of the Joint Russian-Moroccan Intergovernmental Commission, due in Moscow, and the next visit to Russia by Mr. Nasser Bourita, the statement concluded.
