In an update published following information broadcast on several websites reporting an out-of-stock condition of Covid-19 treatments, the ministry affirmed that the available stock is sufficient to cover the next few months.
The ministry stated that there will be no change in the supply of these drugs to the market, noting that the national market will be supplied with the regular quantities needed, as long as everyone adheres to rational use of the drugs.
Aware of the need to ensure the availability of these drugs, the ministry of Health called on all stakeholders to commit to these measures to ensure the availability of treatment to all patients.
As soon as the first cases of coronavirus appeared in the Kingdom, the ministry worked to guarantee the supply of essential medicines to the national market, in accordance with ministerial circular No. 75 DMP/00 of 18 March 2020 on the supply of medicines to the national market.
