Casablanca: Adoption of Remote Education for 2 Additional Weeks (Academy)

Casablanca - The Casablanca-Settat Regional Academy for Education and Training announced on Friday that it was decided to extend, for two more weeks, the adoption of remote education in public and private schools, all grades combined, and in establishments under foreign missions in the prefectures of the districts of Casablanca.

They are Casablanca-Anfa, Al Fida-Mers Sultan, Hay Hassani, Aïn Chock, Aïn Sebaâ-Hay Mohammadi, Ben M'sick, Moulay Rachid, and Sidi Bernoussi, said a press release from the Academy, following the government's decision to extend by 14 days the implementation of the restrictive measures that entered into force on September 7, 2020 and for the same period.

The measure also applies to students from families with members infected with the new coronavirus (Covid-19), added the same source.

As for the students not concerned by this decision and belonging to other provincial directorates of the region, they will continue their education according to the mode chosen by their parents, remotely or in-person, in compliance with the health protocol and preventive measures, noted the Academy.
