The new toll of confirmed cases brings to 103,119 the number of contaminations in the Kingdom since the first case reported on March 2 and to 84,158 that of fully recovered people, the ministry said in its daily Covid-19 report.
A downward trend was noted in the number of deaths, with 25 new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, that is a total of 1,855, with a case fatality rate stable at 1.8%.
These deaths are distributed between the regions of Casablanca-Settat (10), Fez-Meknes (3), Marrakech-Safi (2), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (2), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (2), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (2), the eastern region (1) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1).
The new cases are distributed between the regions of Casablanca-Settat (495), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (296), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (88), Marrakech-Safi (86), Souss-Massa (84), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (79), Drâa-Tafilalet (75), Fez-Meknès (75), the eastern region (74), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (22), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (1), and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
The number of excluded cases stands at 2,307,457, after 20,085 new negative analyzes.
The active cases reached the number of 17,106, with a prevalence of 47.1/100,000 inhabitants. Concerning severe or critical cases, there are 300, including 41 intubated people.
The cumulative incidence rate is 284/100,000 inhabitants, against an incidence of 24 hours established at 3.8/100,000 inhabitants.
