This meeting takes place within the framework of a new series of dialogue sessions initiated by the CSMD with the various stakeholders with the objective of consolidating a participatory approach which aims to elaborate the expected development model, while taking into account the repercussions of the crisis caused by the spread of the new Coronavirus.
During this meeting, the delegation made up of Slimane El Omrani, Mohamed Najib Boulif, Driss Sqalli Adoui, Mohamed Naji and Karim Ouldim presented a memorandum outlining the party's vision concerning the new development model in light of the epidemiological situation that the world and Morocco are going through, proposing measures to better manage it.
In a statement to MAP, El Omrani affirmed that the debate focused mainly on the backbone of this new memorandum and on the measures to be taken at the social, economic and digital levels, considering that the memorandum submitted by the party last January remains valid and up-to-date.
Based on a study on the challenges imposed by the epidemiological situation at the social level, the party noted that this pandemic showed the need to achieve social cohesion through well-defined social policies, he explained.
At the economic level, El Omrani added that the party insisted on the pressing need to achieve an economic recovery, considering it as a requisite for the development of the Kingdom, while emphasizing the importance of ensuring a digital transition.
