Following a meeting of the provincial health vigilance committee, held on Friday over the epidemiological situation which has improved in recent days, the governor of the province decided to take new measures concerning the prevention and protection system in force since September 6 to counter the second wave of the pandemic, the province said.
This includes extending the closing time for shops and services and the evening curfew by sixty minutes. Shops will now close at 10 p.m. (until 5 a.m.) instead of 9 p.m. previously and the curfew prohibiting movement at 11 p.m. instead of 10 p.m., said a statement from the province.
This new measure takes effect as of Sunday, September 27 at 8 p.m. and will be maintained depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the province, said the same source, adding that all the other preventive measures, taken on Sept. 3 and 4 by the same Provincial Committee remain unchanged.
