The local authorities of Béni Mellal have decided to extend the closing time of hammams, gyms and local shops to 9:00 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m., said a press release from the prefecture of Béni Mellal.
The local authorities have also decided to extend the opening hours of markets to 6 p.m., to reopen the Kasbat Tadla pilot market and to set its closing time at 8 p.m., in addition to the reopening of the Ksiba market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
However, hammam workers must, before the opening of these places, perform PCR tests proving that they are not positive for Covid-19, it explained.
The local authorities call on the citizens of the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region to respect individually and collectively the rules of prevention, mainly hygiene, the correct and permanent wearing of face masks, and social distancing, in addition to avoiding gatherings and going out unless in cases of pressing necessity.
