The BMCE Bank Group fell in the "Financial Services" category while ACWA Power Maroc won its award in the “Partnerships and Cooperation” category.
The award, also known as the “Green Oscar of the Middle East”, was granted to other initiatives and practices that enshrine corporate social responsibility, launched by 20 actors in the Dubai region with the aim of achieving sustainable development.
The recipients were chosen among applicants from 9 countries in the Middle East, who presented projects in 34 different fields, including the automotive sector launched last year.
According to the "Arabia CSR network", the selection of winners was made on the basis of a set of global principles, including the standards of the United Nations Global Compact, the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management and the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
